With 36.1 million trick-or-treaters visiting homes in 2006, it is not surprising that we all want our homes to look like "Halloweenish" that any for the big night.
Here are some simple ideas for Halloween decorations that make your home look festive, but do not break the bank.
Orange Lights
Changing light bulbs in lamps outdoor lights at home or orange lights. If you can not find orange bulbs, you can buy cheap Halloween themed string lights (like Christmas lights) and hang around your front door.
Make your own lighting
Home Place Halloween luminaries along the sidewalk or a path to your door. You can make lighting easy and inexpensive with paper bags. You can leave the original spray paint or orange brown.
In each bag, light pencil drawing of a pumpkin, ghost or spider. With a sharp pencil or nail, poke holes every inch along the contour of the drawing.
Fill each bag with about 1 ½ to 2 cups of sand. Place a candle in a glass votive holder and safely out the votive in the sand (or use glow sticks if you leave your home unattended). Votives in the light of sunset on the night of Halloween and his house was a blaze of Halloween beautiful.
Make Your Own Scarecrow

Secure the pillowcase to the shirt by tying with string. With a permanent marker, draw a scarecrow face and place the hat on top.
Make Your Own Pumpkin Family
For faces, whimsical painting of pumpkins, you can create an entire pumpkin family that can be proudly displayed on bales of hay in and around your door input.
On paper, an outline of ideas of what kind of image to put on your pumpkin. Transfer the design of a product cleaned and dried pumpkin a non-permanent marker. Paint design with craft paints. Seal with spray varnish or sealer.
If each member of your family (even smaller) the colors of your own pumpkin, you have a collection of gourds painted decorations for your home memorable.
